Dead right, he's been crap so far tonight, and he hasn't done anything in the whole comp so far that would make anyone think that he's world class.

    Way over rated..

    Re: Benji Marshall

We weren't much better, it was only luck that gave us the win..

Sloppy play, sloppy reffing, not a game that i would consider to be of world beating standard..

    Re: Benji Marshall

    yeah... well done NZ

I didn't think Marshall has been playing that bad? But definately out played by Nathan Fein... he's in outstanding form...

but on the subject of over rated? I don't think we have to go much further than Leon Pryce... he's been bloody disappointing!

    Agreed.

Marshall went ok. Fein was good.

A lot hype from the media on Leon Pryce. I was waiting for something...anything! Disappointing.

    Re: Benji Marshall

Agreed,on Leon Pryce,he had a *** world cup.I rate Pryce as a player but he must have got stage fright at this tournament. He as size, pace and skill but showed none of it.I watch superleague and i think there are some better players in there that didn't make the cup.

Benji hasn't been great but he is improving by each game.He showed some good touches lastnight but Fien was awesome. The move to put Leuleulai at hooker payed off,he played well for once.Keep him there if he gets another run.

The game had a lot of errors and that will be no good against the Aussies.

Glad the kiwis won though. They do look a bit better, and that's 3 wins in a row now.Better than the tour to England last year.

    Go Fiji,Go NZ.

    Re: Benji Marshall

Leon Pryce is an enigma, the media talks about size speed and skill, well i see size. GO BACK TO BLACKPOOL.

Im an aussie but i wanted someone to beat us this world cup, it will be better for the game if we loose tonight or in the final. Why dont the english team hire joey johns to develop their players.

The way I see it, most of the players in australia, new zealand and england are on the same levels, but we have the superstars and no one can match them, im talking about the thurstons, lockeyers and inglis'

Benji Marshall is a great player!! I don't think he's as over rated as some players.

    haha! yes, go to Blackpool...

from a Kiwi perspective, I lean heavily towards the NRL... and although NZ doesn't have its own professional league ala NRL or ESL... we have more than enough players in both comps to always be competitive.

I agree on the superstars point... I think that's why NZ was able to pinch a win from you guys every now and then in the past... had guys like Stacey Jones (key position), SBW, R Wiki, Ali Lauitiiti, Asotasi, F Pritchard etc...

I think our current team just lacks a super star or 2 to compete with OZ... I think we still have guys who can make the big plays eg, Benji Marshall, Manu Vatuvei, Steve Matai... but would need pretty much everythying going our way to even have a chance next week (no disrespect to Fiji though)

    GO KIWI'S!

mate couldnt agree more about leaon pryceive never rated him, on marshall i think if you guys are going to win hell have to be at his bet, i rekon since hearney gave him the captiancy for one game i have noticed him taking the line on more. in the past he has been just a ball player now hes ging to be more dangerous if this continues, if australia win im hoping for a sick az game.
