If you want to carry on a discussion idiot, learn how to spell. None of your rubbish makes sense. "...silver platter league doesnt your try get a sponsor in rugby town ....." What the hell are you trying to say?  Are you sure you're a New Zealander? Because don't forget, they are your All Blacks just as they are my Kiwi's. Or doesn't that fit with your twisted view of the world? I bet you wear a patch. Take it off your back and put it over your eye where it belongs.

Go the kiwis. Can't wait for the next league world cup.Hopefully the organisers can do a better job than this one but it doesn't matter to me,as long as i get to watch rugby league.I rate the NRL the toughest competition of any contact sport in the world.Union doesn't even compare in the entertainment stakes.Having all the money and all the teams in the world still doesn't make union as entertaining as league.Go join a boring union forum BugleHead!

Re: why do you pay out other sports

nrl the toughest contact sport comp haha u obviosly didnt watch the 2008 super 14 now that is a tough comp it makes the nrl look like the a-league soccer comp and rugby not entertaining mayb try watching the tri nations or bledisloe cup now that is entertaining now the nrl is the toughest league comp no league comp around the world even compares haha but ru we have so many comps that are about the same level as eachother and the RWC is the third most watched comp in the world behind the olympics and the soccer world cup. the RLWC probz isnt even in the top 15 haha just give up rugby is a world game RL is only bigger than RU in 2 countries haha

The only way way Union was to survive was to start an international comp. Re. Super 14 because domestically it was dead.

the only way rugby is to survive is to start a international comp r u that stupid two out of the three countries has there own domestic comps the air new zealand cup and the south african curry cup and they are huge in there own countries infact australia seems to be the only countrie that does not hav a domestic competition which is a shame leagueies u talk it up but u really cannot back it up u say league is better but what proof or back up do u have haha

Can you please use a full stop when a sentence ends because your ramblings are a bit harder follow! Anyway, who do you think will win win this weekend bughead? As a proud Aussie I would love to see a repeat of the 2006 Tri-Nations final but in reverse. A Kiwi win would have to put a few cynics in their place. But then again they will just turn around & say RL in Australia is washed up because they lost! Doesn't matter hey bughead, as the Stones said, you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime..........

Re: why do you pay out other sports

I know heaps of good union players here in NZ and most of them have played league.Every one of them has told me that league definately was a lot tougher than union.Every one who has played both codes will tell you that, (even the ex all blacks).Yeah that's right...Ridge,Innes,Kirwan,Ellis,Carter,.

Don't worry league is on the up.Union clubs are folding in NZ,not like the old days where most towns had at least 2 clubs or more,Packed with teams from 5s all the way to senior A. Not anymore!!!!!! .This would be a concern to the rugby big wigs over here. It's becoming all too common these days. Some provinces are even losing money.....that's right ...big losses.....Union isn't as rosy as it may seem...not here anyway.

Re: why do you pay out other sports

Super 14 was a non event.N P C is very poor that's why NZ union keep trying to re structure it.It's the air nz cup now. This years attendance figures must have been at an all time low aye?The Currie cup is as crappy as the Heinekin cup.Our 3rd division teams could beat them bunch of idiots.

How do i know this stuff?I don't even watch union,,, and that's what more and more NZers are doing each year..Changing Channels...

    Bye Bugle Head.

Re: why do you pay out other sports

    Woooahhhhhh

Okay okay, i am a leaguie fan obviously...but yeah everyone (frm NZ) is correct..back home union is the national game and its all there is growing up. (not that i played because we never had girl teams lol) but anyway i hardly even knew league as i was growing up it wasnt until i came over here that i finally embraced it but anyway my point is..

My brothers grew up playing union he even played super 14 for a little while...but now he has just signed up with a NRL club over here in aus to join there development squad..not because he thought it was a better game or because union was too "weak" for him but simply because he wanted a change.....

I also have a cousin (Who is maori and from NZ) who plays for the Queensland Red's (Union) and has even played a game or two for the Wallabies...

so my point is that..Union and League both "originated" from the same sort of games so why cant we just al be a big fat bunch of friends....hahahaha

or just stay on your own forums and talk shiyat =]

Definition of boredom - writing crap that is totally irralavent to the post, then trying to make it sound like it is... =P

    GO THE KIWI'zz.....
